I send my love and sincerest sympathy to each of the Wood Family. Aunt Pat, as we called her, was one of the dearest people I have ever met. I married her brother, Ernie, and because we made our home in State College, we would get together almost every weekend when their kids and our six were growing up. Oh what fun we had over the years. To this day, all of the cousins have kept in touch and show their love for one another. Pat was a devoted and loving wife to George and a dear Mom to her big family. Her bright light will no longer shine on this earth but she will remain in our hearts forever. Love to each of you, Aunt Becky

I worked the election at the Catholic church for many years and always enjoyed talking to Mr. and Mrs. Woods and Mark. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by all.

The small space provided here to comment can never hold the amount of words necessary to describe the amazing woman Mrs. Wood was to an entire town of kids growing up in the 70s well into the 90s and beyond. Whether it was baking bread night and talks around the table with wine and cheese, sing-a-longs, advice to young women about young men and the difficulties that brought, weekends at the camp at Black Moshannon or most often many summer nights on the front porch…you never knocked at the front door…just walked into the love that filled the big yellow house on South Center street. We celebrate you Mrs. Wood and are forever grateful and honored to just have known you! ❤️

Prayers for all of her family and friends. I remember her especially from when the family lived in “Northy.” Always a smile and so very kind.

She was one of the loveliest people I have ever met. I’ll never forget my time at their home and how much love I always felt when I was there.
Her kindness towards me and everyone left an imprint that has stayed with me all my life.
What a great life, she lived well.
