Janet & I have been friends ever since the she moved to Hillcrest Apts. Over the years Janet became the sister I never had. We shared our lives, past & present. For years after my husband died, Janet & I visited every evening to review our days, talk about our families and share memories. I’ll always remember Janet’s smile, warmth, ready humor & all the love she had for her family. My life is better because Janet was my “sister.” My sympathy for your loss.

Janet met our very young granddaughter at Halloween. Anna was in costume & Janet invited us into her apt. I knew then that Janet loved children. She made them feel important, simply for who they were. She did the same for adults. I think Janet’s sunny nature, openness & wry humor created a warmth & mutual regard among us. I learned the most from Mom & Jane’s friendship over the years. Age & physical limitations don’t lessen a bond. These two soulmates loved & supported one another all along the journey. My condolences to all of you. You were so greatly loved.
