To Mary Moore–I had no idea this was your Father. I first met him when I came home from the military in 1994 at my Uncle George’s bar in Cold Stream. My Mom (Becky Laird her maiden name) and all the Laird girls which were my Aunts knew him and dearly loved him. They all worked at Cigar Plant with him along with my Grandfather Bud Laird. They were a tight bunch-The Cigar Plant people and your Father would give anyone anything they needed. He was a great joy to be around and I can remember some great times with him laughing and telling stories. My condolences to you and your family. <3
