Dear Family, I have always had the greatest admiration for Doloris and enjoyed her so very much as my dance instructor. Whenever I wanted to learn
to dance in my 40’s, she encouraged me. She loved the children but she also loved her adult students as well. Philly, you do not know how I envied the
relationship you and your mom had. You were business partners, mom and daughter and also had such an awesome friendship. I never had that with
my mom. We did have fun in our classes didn’t we?
Ella Jane and I went to your mom’s funeral yesterday. So very beautiful.
Philly, you and Heather are in my prayers for a complete healing of your present illness.
God bless all of you as you go through this difficult time. PS Shawn, it was good to speak with you yesterday even though you would not remember me.

Please know that our heartfelt sympathy is with you all. Philly I want you to
know your mom was a wonderful lady. I will always remember our days in dancing with Norma Jean and
Nancy Doodle,we had great times with her she was always so nice to us. I have always given her the credit for Shelley being
the gymnast she became, because your mom knew she had talent. We were so glad to always have her
and Russ playing golf with us. She was just a pleasure to be around. Our prayers are with you.

Dee was such a sweet lady – I have such fond memories of dance class at Shaw & Ghaner. I remember how nervous I was when Dee put me in point class and then I remember the fear faded when I saw how much she believed in me. Dee truly believed in her students – she was passionate, dedicated and I’m sure she helped many children, beyond me, to find confidence in themselves. She will be missed.
