Chris Reed was, hands down, the best manager I ever worked for in 23.5 years in corrections, and one of the finest human beings I’ve ever known. God grant him a rich reward in heaven.

I served with Chris in Kosovo. I especially remember taking daily walks with him and a few of his fellow CPTs at that time around Camp Bondsteel each morning and talking about about everything. I remember his jovial laugh and always appreciated his pleasant personality. Such a unexpected loss at such an early age. May God bless your family. (glt.cb@juno.com)

I am truly at a loss for words and I am so sorry for the loss of such a respected man. I can say he was a true childhood friend and enjoyed the times I got to spend with him, at school and on Sundays with his Mom, Dad, and brother. Hard to believe how much time has past, but has not been forgotten.
You are all in my thoughts and I wish you the best through such a difficult time.

As I was looking up Chris’s phone number today I learned he passed away in September. What a shock. I worked with Chris at SCI Huntingdon. He was a great person and so much fun. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
