Laura I. Pietro – Guestbook Entries
Stan LaFuria
I first met Laura when our family moved to the area in the early 1990s. Laura was a reporter for The Progress newspaper and I was working for the Moshannon Valley Economic Development Partnership. In my line of work, it’s always a good idea to have the media folks behind you. Laura was great to work with, always fair, and I enjoyed talking to her very much. Sorry to learn of her passing. My condolences go out to the family.

Laura was a great help to me when she was a news writer for the Clearfield Progress in the 1970s. She helped expose some wrongdoing by the agency where I was working at the time and I always admired her courage. I will never forget her.
