Ryan Michael Jones
Ryan Michael Jones, 42, of Morrisdale, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at his home.
Ryan was born on February 20, 1983, in Clearfield, a son of Timothy P. and Dayna L. (Hurley) Jones, of Morrisdale.
He was a 2001 graduate of West Branch Area High School.
He was employed over the past 12 years with Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. His current position was in the patient transport department.
He was of the United Methodist faith.
Ryan was married to the love of his life, Chelsea L. (Dittman) Jones, on October 22, 2011, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Philipsburg. She survives at home.
He is also survived by two brothers, Aaron T. Jones and his wife, Ashlee, of Milesburg and Lance R. Jones and his wife, Carrie, of Morrisdale; his beloved nephews, Lincoln and Benjamin Jones, Landon, Brody and Chace Dittman, Gabriel Booz, and his beloved niece, Fiona Dittman; his maternal grandmother, Shirley (Lamb) Hurley, of Morrisdale; his treasured “fur babies”, and numerous other extended family members.
Ryan was preceded in death by his infant sister, Kara L. Jones; his maternal grandfather, William E. Hurley; his paternal grandparents, George R. and Irene (Holobinko) Jones; and his infant niece, Reese L. Jones.
Ryan loved being a “Fur Dad” and an uncle to his niece and nephews. He also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
A viewing will be held from 1-3 pm on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3 pm with Pastor Catherine Dittman officiating.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made in Ryan’s memory to the Clearfield County SPCA, 275 21st. Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
