David S. Haag
David S. Haag, 69, of Philipsburg, died Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in (Chester Hill) RD Philipsburg.
David was born on August 28, 1955, in Clearfield, a son of the late Joseph and Stella (Bailey) Haag.
He was employed as a butcher throughout his working career. A career that included employment with Weis Market in Philipsburg and Hometown Market in Chester Hill.
He was also employed with Center Hardwood, LLC / Bald Eagle Pellet Co, (Bald Eagle) RD Tyrone.
David was a member of the New Life Center, Philipsburg. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
David was married on August 12, 1993, in Kylertown, to the former Esther L. (Hazel) Dailey, who preceded him in death on April 27, 2021.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Daisey Lynn Haag; a brother, Francis J. Haag; and his father-in-law, Charles L. Hazel, Sr.; in addition to his parents and wife, Esther.
David is survived by his mother-in-law, Elzina L. (Bennett) Hazel, of Sandy Ridge; and numerous other extended family members.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery, Grampian.
