To Jennifer Laws-Gilham on the passing of your Aunt
Jennifer: My condolences on losing your Aunt Helen. I bet you have special memories. You did much to make her last years easier. From: Kathy Petcavage Campbell, Geisinger Nursing Class of 1971.
William Fink, Mayor, Tyrone Borough
Growing up with Helen on 17th Street in Tyrone was one of the best adventures of my life. Don’t be fooled, her hard shell was just a covering for the caring person inside. I wouldn’t trade her friendship for anything. No doubt the gates of heaven opened wide for her arrival!!

Our family will never be able to repay the loving care and kindness that Helen gave to our mother, Betty Maines, who was Helen’s roommate at Windy Hill Village. Mom could never have found a more wonderful friend than she did in Helen over the past few years. And, although, Mom is not able to tell her in her own voice, I am sure that she would thank Helen for her friendship and the loving care that she took of her at Windy Hill Village. I always enjoyed talking with Helen and her family when I visited with Mom. What a wonderful; caring and beautiful soul. Helen will be missed, I am sure, by many people–me included. Godspeed, Helen, Godspeed. Karen J. Owens, and the family of Betty J. Maines.

Aunt Helen, I sure loved spending time with you several summers ago when Abigail and her family and I came out to visit you and Aunt Peg and Patty Lou in Houtzdale! You were always smiling and making us laugh! I wish I could have gotten back to see you again.
Love you!
Becky
