We met Nancy and Marshall a few years ago when we went to Phillipsburg while doing some genealogy research and they were so gracious in taking us around the area and showing us places I had only heard about from my father and uncle. Nancy was very outgoing and just a joy to be around. I had been meaning to get back there but life got in the way as often happens. She would not let us leave until she presented us with one of her home made dolls which we have to this day sitting in a little rocking chair in our living room. We only spent a few hours with her but went away knowing that we were in the presence of a very special person.

There are no words to describe Nancy . . . she is, without a doubt, the kind of person you are blessed to know. Her generous spirit was limitless. If she met you, she instantly loved you. And she blessed many, many people with her handmade gifts of baby quilts, blankets, angels, kitchen towels, yard flags, and more. She was in many cases, my adopted mother. She gave me such grounded and wise advice over the years, loving my children as much as she loved me. She never realized what an incredible person she was. Her humility didn’t allow her to see her true beauty–both inside and out. She and Marshall are truly “one of a kind” amazing people. Her legacy will live on through the keepsake treasures I have scattered throughout my house. The memory of her will live forever in my heart. You will surely bless heaven with your presence, Nancy! We will miss you.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Nancy!! She always held a special place in my heart. I got to know her while working as a phlebotomist. And in 2003 when I had the New Years baby at clearfield hospital I received a most special gift of a homemade blanket for my newborn and a homemade doll for my oldest daughter and I found out it was nancy that made them! She was such a kind hearted woman! Prayers to all the family in your time of sorrow!
