Judith Ann “Judy” Fetcho
Judith Ann “Judy” Fetcho, 80, of Morrisdale, died Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Judy was born on December 6, 1943, in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late William L., Sr. and Mary L. (Harper) Kyler.
Judy was a graduate of the former Morris Township High School. Following high school, she furthered her education at the Maryland Medical Secretarial School at Hagerstown Business College, Hagerstown, Maryland.
She was married on April 20, 1963, in Hagerstown, Maryland, to Ronald “Ron” Fetcho, who survives at home.
Judy was employed for most of her working career as a lab technician at the former Philipsburg State General Hospital and then at the former Philipsburg Area Hospital. Following the closure of the Philipsburg Area Hospital, Judy was employed part-time as a teacher’s aide for the West Branch Area School District.
Judy was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Philipsburg.
Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed making crafts, ceramic items, knitting, crocheting and reading.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William L. “Butch” Kyler, in addition to her parents.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ron; a daughter, Coleen M. Czachowski and her husband, Mark, of Pittsburgh; a son, Chris K. Fetcho and his wife, Sheree, of Washington, (Pa); four grandchildren: Elizabeth and Erica Czachowski, both of Pittsburgh, Nathan Fetcho and his wife, Taylor, of Cannonsburg and Kyle Fetcho, of Washington,(Pa); one great-grandchild, Coast Fetcho, of Cannonsburg; and numerous other extended family members.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Inurnment will be in the Garden of Angels Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
