Lisa & Family,
Please accept my sincerest condolences~I was happy to have spent time with Winnie when we were together at Ridgeview. I was always so glad when she accepted a cup of hot tea from me and enjoyed watching Father of the Bride like it was the first time. Her heart, soul and spirit were often evident, as well as humor, in spite of failing memory. Indeed, a profound and beautiful photo of her that captures her unique essence of a life well lived. I am sorry for the grief you now experience with her passing. She has come to the joyful light of her new home with new freedom. I trust you will find comfort and strength in the days ahead as you reflect on the vibrant legacy of her amazingly full and generous life. I will keep you in my prayers.

For the first time in a long time, I checked the obituaries and am sad to say I recognized this name. I did not know the family well, but I will always remember Winnie. I spent many hours (10 minutes at a time) talking with her at the Progress office. She was very kind and interesting, but there was something more. She encouraged me to ask questions and engage in deep discussions, which is not common for an eight year old paper boy. My condolences to the family.

Dear Lisa and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a sweet lady who always showed interest in others. She always made me feel so welcome when I visited her home. She always spoke when she would see me. Hang on to the memories. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
