Richard Dennis “Denny” Dixon
Terry Hoover
I was honored to have spent my youth growing up in Osceola Mills and being able to have Denny as a friend. Denny was truly a gift in the lives of everyone who knew him. There are few people in this life that are truly special, Denny was that and so much more. Denny was a kind, caring and gentle man who brought happiness to those who knew him. There are so many who have fond memories of their times spent with Denny. Denny will be just a memory away. Thank you for being the man you were Denny! We will all miss you.

Denny Dixon was a gentleman and a gentle man. His quiet spirit, sense of humor, intelligence and warmth are what we will always remember most about him. With Kathy’s love and support, he set a high standard for us all in the way he faced his many health challenges with courage and optimism. When he and Kathy moved back to Philipsburg and we were able to spend time with them, the intervening years fell away and it was as if we were back in college with Denny explaining the weather and the clouds again. Knowing Denny was a great gift; he gave us the sky.

Sending our deepest condolences to Kathy and family on the loss of Denny. He fought a long hard battle with Parkinson’s and the ongoing devastation was unrelenting to him and his beloved family. He served his nation in the war in Vietnam and paid a heavy price the rest of his life. His bravery and his brotherhood will always be remembered. Am sure God has him in His highest level of comfort with eternal rest and free from pain or illness. May you, Kathy, and your entire family be comforted and filled with strength and courage to deal with this highly emotional loss. Blessings to each of you daily. A giant Salute to Denny and warm hugs to you all.
