Alice Marie Boulton
Alice Marie Boulton, 75, of RD Philipsburg, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019, Windy Hill Village, PSL, RD Philipsburg.
Alice was born on October 24, 1943, in the village of Van Ormer, Reade Township, Cambria County, a daughter of the late Floyd L. and Genevieve (Hollen) Mayes.
Alice had been employed with the JBC sewing factory, formerly of Madera. She was also a dedicated homemaker.
Alice is survived by two daughters, Margaret S. “Peggy” Boulton, of Ephrata and Betty J. Knepp and her husband, Brian, of Bigler; two sons, Edward F. Boulton, of Clearfield and Michael J. Boulton, of Leola; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and “one on the way”; one sister, Jane Mellott and her husband, Jerry, of Hollentown; two brothers, Charles Mayes and his wife, Nancy, of Blandburg and Jerry Mayes and his wife, Michelle, of Van Ormer; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Alice was preceded in death by one infant daughter; three infant granddaughters; one infant grandson; two sisters, Carolyn L. Smith and Julia Terry; and one brother, Frank Mayes in addition to her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 3 pm, at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, with Pastor David Eia, officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from Noon until the time of the funeral service.
Interment will be in IOOF Cemetery, Brisbin.
