Florence A. Weitoish
Florence A. Weitoish, 86, of (Troy) RD Philipsburg, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Centre Crest, Bellefonte.
Florence was born on April 27, 1932, in Newark, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Vincent Marchese and Angelina (Giuliano) Gallucci and her husband, Florence’s step-father, Arthur Gallucci.
She was of the Catholic faith and a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching television programs in her spare time.
Florence was married on June 21, 1958, in Newark, New Jersey, to Stanley Weitoish, who preceded her in death on July 19, 1987.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Guzzi and Congetta Gallucci, in addition to her parents and husband.
Florence is survived by three daughters: Michele M. Myers and her husband, Russell “Russ,” of Port Matilda, Cheryl A. Weitoish, of (Troy) RD Philipsburg and Roseann Weitoish, of Osceola Mills; two sons, Arthur Weitoish, of Hawk Run and Vincent Weitoish and his companion, Carmen, of Longmont, Colorado; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Vincent “Jimmy” Marchese and his wife, Genevieve, of Nutley, New Jersey; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 1:30 pm at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, with Deacon Dennis Socash, officiating.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
