Thank you for the opportunity to provide care for Peggy along with making memories with her while she resided at Windy Hill. She was such a pleasure to be with and get personality is one that will always be remembered, extending to getting to know more of her from her children, whom also were a delight to interact with and see when they visited. Prayers to all, soar high Peggy!

Peggy was my idol growing up. She loved to read to me as I brushed and "fixed" her hair. She sang with the High School chorus and yes, was valedictorian, inspiring me to follow in those footsteps. She had a lot of friends and was a good dancer, especially doing the jitterbug at the Teetotaler. On VJ Day, at the end of WWII, she jumped on the back of an army truck in a parade in Philipsburg, She had a lot of energy, was a good cook and a good mother. Being ten years younger, I loved watching her get dressed for special events --One outfit is clear in my memory. -- A long black slim skirt and red long sleeved top. She wore a small gold barrette of three flowers in her long, wavy hair. These are the ways I like to remember her.

We were honored to meet Nana the summer before Phil and Elizabeth were married.
She was elegant, articulate, sweet and kind.
We can only hope that our granddaughter Eva inherits
all of Nana's traits and her beautiful smile as well.
Our sympathies to Patty and the rest of your family.
