Ralph Thomas Dill – Guestbook Entries

Ralph would always sit in front of us each Sunday morning. We've missed his presence for quite some time. He was such a sweet, caring, gentleman. We will truly miss him and his silly, little jokes, but we know is happy, healthy and secure in Heaven with his Lord and Saviour. He was a blessing to so many people. May God bless the family members he leaves behind.

We always enjoyed Ralph's wonderful sense of humor. In church when our Preacher, who is Ralph's Dad, would say something about his childhood or someone they knew I always watched Ralph for his response. It almost always was a big smile. We miss hearing him sing in the choir, but we are sure heaven is hearing his joyful songs now.

On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans (USSVI), I offer our sincere condolences on Ralph’s passing. You and your loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers. We are forever grateful for Ralph’s service to our country in the U.S. Submarine Service. To our Brother we say, “Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. May you rest in peace and may God bless your loved ones who remain. Thank you for your service to our country."
“Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way.” - 2 Thess 3:16.

Some of my best memories are of those retreats we took to New Hampshire. I was overwhelmed with pride, when Mr. Dill thought I was responsible enough to drive a van full of teenagers from Delaware to New Hampshire; I was just a teenager myself. Mr. Dill always had time to listen, gave of himself selfishly and brought laughter to whatever was going on. His laugh will be missed by those who knew him best. He also gave great hugs. Tell dad hello for me!

I'm sorry for your loss. I know you will miss him. I'm glad he's with the Lord Jesus Christ and his beloved wife Judy. Through Ellie I got to hear what a wonderful man he is.

My condolences to a fine and memorable shipmate a long time ago.
We did many battery charges together, he in Maneuvering and me in the Engine Room and steamed many miles together.
May the family find solace and peace.
Rest In Peace, Shipmate.

Ralph and Judy were always very special cousins. I loved listening to Ralph's stories of being in the mission field and also from his navy days. He always had a smile and tried to help anyway he could. He will be missed but I know he is in his heavenly home reunited with Judy and his family.
