Bill Marsh was the type of guy that you always liked to be around. He could be serious, but seemed to have a perpetual smile on his face and made everyone around him calm and happy. He loved basketball and was an outstanding player. I have many memories of playing on the same team with Bill when he was a junior and I was a senior. My brother, Jim and Bill were very close friends during his entire life. Even though I moved to Florida and seldom saw Bill, I still kept in touch with him through my brother. He served his Country with honor and pride during a difficult time in our history.
My condolences to his wife, son and entire family. May he rest in peace.

Carol,
My heart goes out to you. Bill was a wonderful man and like a member of the family. He always would stop by the house even if it was just to say hello to the family. He took very good care of his clients. He always put their needs first. He was right there when my father passed away and did just that. . .took care of us. We have such good memories of Bill. I’ll miss him deeply. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

I have a lifetime of memories, Bill, but the most endearing are of the playground behind the 7th & 8th Grade building. It was touch football. You & Wick against Tiger & me. The ball was a golf-ball sized wad of paper held together with rubber bands, and the four of us were out there every lunch time the weather would let us. Score was kept on a back page of that lined tablet with the state of PA on the front cover, and I think we even carried the score over from the 5th & 6th grades. Thanks for the friendship, Bill, and rest in peace. Virginia & I offer our heartfelt condolences to Carol and all of your Family.

My heartfelt condolences to Carol and family. Bill was a great guy and I was very pleased to know him. He treated my sons Mike and Lou like they were a part of his family and I will never forget that about him. We all enjoyed having Bill on the old CNB golf team in the Thursday night men’s league. A great guy to be around and always one of the first to buy a round. That was the kind of guy he was. God love you Bill.
