Geraldine R. Pezalski – Guestbook Entries
Fr. John R. Shedlock
How often during those early years when I was growing up in Philipsburg, Geraldine was a unique individual who would often greet you with a special smile and sense of humor. Most times I would meet her at the old STS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (Beaver Street) before Mass, always endearing and especially when she would be with her family. It is a blessing to have shared her presence and demeanor. Blessings and prayers to you Geralding!

We were so sorry to read of Gerry’s death. I loved seeing her at Brookline activities when I’d be visiting my mom. She had such a warm personality that I loved spending time with her.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I’ve been working out of town and was not here for her services; I would have liked to been a part of that. I do not look forward to the day that I will lose my mom. We are very close. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless

I am so sorry for your loss. I just want you to know that you and the rest of the family are in my prayers. I have many fond memories of your mother. I think one one most fun I had was when I had your mom, Aunt Anne and my mom in Philipsburg for a class reunion of all the classes.

I will remember Gerry with love as my second mother. Thank you, Gerry, for your generosity, kindness, and laughter over the years, and for your world famous rice pudding that I will never forget. You, too, will never be forgotten and are loved by so many.

Lyd…I know you peek here now and then and I just wanted you to know I snuggle up with Gerry’s energy wrapped in my arms every night now that I am blessed with her spread. She would of approved and we giggle ourselves to sleep. C

Aunt Gerry was truly a beautiful and loving lady. I remember so many fun times with her and my Mom when I was young, baking cookies, making food and just chatting….My special memory is my Junior prom when she set my natural curly hair in bobby pins and gave me the biggest “Afro”..What fun trying to straighten that one out. After my Mom passed, she became more than my “special aunt”..she became my close friend and confidant…We shared many telephone conversations about life, my dear Uncle Ray, and all of the family times from the past. I have missed those conversations the last two months when she became too ill to talk. I know she has taken Uncle Ray’s hand and joined him in heaven where they will share their everlasting love for eternity. I miss you and love you very much, Aunt Gerry, and thank you for all of the beautiful memories. See you on the “other side”………

To Little Ray, Linda, Aunt Connie & Aunt Ann. Also to the family members. Aunt Gerry was a special Aunt to me. She always was a giving person & was there for me when my parents both passed. When your father passed, I know it was hard on her, but she was always motivated to push on. Always remember the memories, cause they were special from this special lady that God had made. It was our privilege & my honor to know her and love her when I was growing up & making a life for myself. My prayers are with all of you at this time.
Love all of you

To Linda, Little Ray, Connie, Ann and all the family of “Gerry”. My heart goes out to all of you at this hard time. I know she lived a good long life and was such a wonderful person to have known. I feel honored to have known her the way i did. She was like a Grandmother to me as well. Lots of great times at the house, the camp, the family homestead in Chester Hill at Christmas time, and of course me being put up to playing tricks on her by her one and only love. “BIG JAKE” aka: BLACKY PEG-LEG PEZALSKI.
I know that they are now together in paradise and there is no pain or suffering, just LOVE, and that is what “Gerry” was all about.
PS – she is probably giving Ray heck for picking up specks of Heavenly Dirt!!!!
Love you, Chuck
