Thomas Lee Wrye
Thomas Lee Wrye, 43, of Philipsburg, PA passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at his residence.
He was the son of Robert L., Sr. & Sarah L. (Cowfer) Wrye, who survive, of Philipsburg. He was born on July 22, 1969 in Philipsburg, PA.
Mr. Wrye was a member of the Philadelphia Society of the Lord’s New Church. He was an extremely talented artist, writer and musician. He was also a computer enthusiast and an active gamer.
He was a member of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School class of 1987 and attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Wrye was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Dave & Mary (Lee) Cowfer; and his paternal grandparents, Layne & Catherine (Booth) Wrye.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: three sisters, Beth Wrye Dunlap & her husband Timothy of Philipsburg, PA, Mary Wrye Slogosky & her husband Bob of Philipsburg, PA, and Sarah Wrye Pantall & her husband Brad of State College, PA; a brother Robert L. Wrye, Jr. & his wife Pam of Madera, PA; and eleven nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg, PA. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
