Maxine (Steele) Frantz
Shawn & Sara Steele
We are saddened to hear the news of Maxine’s passing. We enjoyed spending time with her and June when they travelled with Charles and Debbie to visit us in Minnesota. We took Max to South Dakota and Wyoming to see the Black Hills and she loved the old west history. We learned so much about her tenacity and how deeply she loved her family. Sending love and prayers to June, Joyce and Rick as they mourn the loss of their sister.

We are shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Maxine. She always seemed so strong and despite her age, never thought this would happen so soon! We always enjoyed her visits to VA. Our love and prayers to her remaining siblings, Aunt June, Aunt Joyce and Uncle Rick.

Writing this for my mom Janette Steele who cannot do this as she suffers from Alzheimer’s. This is what I think she would say. “Maxine you will be missed. All the memories from days gone by up to just a few short years ago. I missed being able to come visit you, but i never stopped thinking of you and I love you.” Janette continued to visit Mac when she lived in Hawk Run up to just 2-3 years ago, when she no longer could drive. But before her memory faded, she talked about and thought of you often! Rest in peace Aunt Maxine!
