Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of Jean. She was a good friend of mine.
Jean was a member of the Valley Voices Chorus for many years of which I am the conductor. She was an alto and loved to sing.
I was very happy to receive many blueberries from her over the years which were fresh of the vine. We also loved to read
and I am very proud to have read the novel that she wrote.
I will truly miss her.
May she rest in Peace

I am so saddened to lose my beloved cousin Jean. We were kids together and even after I moved to California, Jean was my link to all thing in Philipsburg. She was an intelligent and artistic woman with a wonderful heart. I will miss her so very much.
Rest in peace Jean, your loving cousin Judith.

Had Trips with Jean by bus and by car. She was really great. Best known for her get together with all the family at Christmas time.

Jean was a woman of few words, but when she spoke, it was always something I needed. Her talks got me through some rough times. She blessed my heart. I valued Jean as my friend. Our families would gather at her house for Christmas. She had a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. So many wonderful memories. I admired her for being a regular YMCA attender! When I would go to work, I would see her car there so early in the morning!! Such dedication. And such dedication to the Lord! I know she is rejoicing in heaven today and singing to Jesus.

Dear Family of Jean,
Jean was a beautiful friend of 22 years. She was a kind, gentle, fun-loving and witty person. We had many delightful conversations, went to church New Year’s Eve parties together, and went to special evening services together. I enjoyed visiting at her house and hold special memories of her and Bob together.
She loved her family dearly and spoke of all of you often. You were the apple of her eye. She prayed for you often.
My sincerest sympathy is extended to you. She will be missed greatly. She holds a special place in my heart.
Sincerely,
Pat Speerstra

Jean was a family friend and an inspiration to my late mother Carolyn Reed and my late grandmother Ruth Gearhart. She will be sadly missed!
