Thomas G. “Tom” Edwards – Guestbook Entries
Jack and Ronna Vesnesky
It’s so difficult to say good bye to Tom, our good friend. Whether he stopped by the house to say hello or for one of his many fix-it jobs, he always had a smile and a kind word. He may be gone but not forgotten. His carpentry skills were unmatched. To your family, we can not image what you are going through, but know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sadly missed by your good friends, Jack and Ronna

Thinking of Tom and his family and keeping him in my daily thoughts and prayers. I had the pleasure of knowing Tom and became friends with him through his brother, Terry. In the time that I knew him he always was fun to be around and someone who would go out of his way to make you feel welcome. He enjoyed the outdoors and it was something that we had the opportunity to do together and with other family and friends. Whether it was hunting archery in Illinois, late season muzzleloader in Ohio, or trout fishing on a stream in Pennsylvania, we always had good times. Tom was also a very skilled craftsman (a MacGyver of sorts) and I always appreciated him for his creativity, organization, hard work and quality craftsmanship. However, the the thing I will remember most about Tom is his friendship. I will miss him but will always carry a piece of him with me through the memories and times we shared together. Rest in peace my friend!

Can’t begin to express the tremendous loss I feel at the passing of a good friend and true artist. My sincere expression of sympathy to Alicelyn, Adam, Colin,Katie and all of Tom’s family. He will be missed by many. He was one of those people that come into your life and add so much to it. He was interested in everything and could talk for hours on any number of topics. He was one of the most talented craftsmen I have ever met. He approached every project with an artist’s flare and appreciation for detail. I loved to watch him ply his trade. May you Rest In Peace my friend.

Caught me and a friend attempting to skipping shop class, out the back door. Gave us some sage advice and sent us back to wood shop. I waited for days to hear from the principal’s office, never did. He was a good guy. Thanks Mr. Edwards. Rest in peace.

Sorry to read the passing of Tom. I had the privilege to share some very crowded fishing holes with him on opening days on Kettle Creek. He always made it a good time & helped me pick on Terry. Thought & prayers to the family. RIP Tom

GOD never closes a door without opening a window. She opened this window for Alicelyn, Adam, Collin, and Katie to become closer to us. Deepest sympathies, prayers, love, and PEACE to the Adam McGovern family.
And so I say goodbye to the brother I never had. I will still leave the garage door open! I WILL MISS YOU.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Dad (Uncle Bill) turns 97 on Wednesday Jan. 15, 2020 and wanted to make the trip for the service. As you know he had a very special relationship with Tom, and is saddened by his passing. We decided that Dad is too frail to make the trip. Please know that we are there in spirit and will treasure all of those fond memories of summers spent at “Camp”, hanging out and doing what kids do. Tom worked hard to keep that legacy going, and it was truly appreciated. May you all travel safely and take good care – please keep in touch.
Diana, Uncle Bill and John
