Donna J. White

Donna J. White, 78, of Morrisdale, died Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Colonial Courtyard, Clearfield.

Born January 9, 1938, in Hastings, Pa., she was a daughter of the late W. Byron and Clare S. (Kibler) Miller.

Donna was married on March 8, 1958, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Osceola Mills, to John C. White, whom preceded her in death on July 19, 1983.

She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Morrisdale. She had a devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary; and she was a promoter of the Miraculous Medal.

She was a 1955 graduate of the former Philipsburg High School. She was a 1958 graduate of the former Philipsburg State General Hospital School of Nursing; and she was employed as a Registered Nurse at the State General Hospital until her retirement.

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also one of the most caring nurses you would ever want to meet.

In addition to her parents and husband; she was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Beth Ann and Molly; and one sister, Gloria Ann Miller.

Donna is survived by two daughters, Laurie A. Josephson and her husband, Wayne, of Kylertown, and Julie M. Irwin and her husband, Gregory, of Clearfield; four sons: John M. White and his wife, Lisa, of Philipsburg, Patrick A. White and his wife, Mary, of Stow, Ohio, Michael B. White and his wife, Christine, of Morrisdale and Timothy D. White and his wife, Brenda, of Drifting; fifteen grandchildren: Joy Billings and her husband, Bryan, John Dixon, Molly Irwin, Megan Irwin, John “J.J.” White and his wife, Maggie, Sara McBride and her husband, Adam, Joseph White, Clayton White, Celina White, Elizabeth White, Michael White, Emily White, Timothy White, Matthew White and Rachel White; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Barry R. Miller and his wife, Debra, of DuBois; a sister-in-law, Christa White, of Levittown, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Morrisdale, with Fr. Robert J. Horgas, Celebrant.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm and on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, from 9 to 9:30 am at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg. The Recitation of the Rosary will be at 3:30 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery, Morrisdale.
