Margaret L. “Peg” Rodgers

Margaret L. “Peg” Rodgers, 98, of (Hudson) RD Philipsburg, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Windy Hill Village, P.S.L., Philipsburg.

Born June 3, 1918, in (Gearhartville) RD Philipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Noah and Jenny (Frye) Beach.

She was married in 1940, in Philipsburg, to Enoch Rodgers, whom preceded her in death in April, 1978.

Peg attended the South Philipsburg Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, RD Philipsburg.

She was a homemaker. Peg enjoyed going for walks and visiting with her neighbors and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Enoch; three sisters: Isabel Saksa, Gladys Nuttall and Catherine Parkes; three brothers: Cecil, George and Russel Beach; and a son-in-law, Marlin L.“Moe” Vaughn.

Peg is survived by one daughter, Gloria J. Vaughn, of (Hudson) RD Philipsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was the last of her generation.

A funeral service will be held on December 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, with Rev. Scott R. Hartsock, Officiating.

The visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service. Interment will be in Philipsburg Cemetery, Philipsburg.
