Mennow Nolt, Jr.

Mennow Nolt, Jr., 74, of Karthaus, PA died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his residence.

Born in September 1941 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Mennow, Sr. and Elizabeth (Weaver) Nolt.

Mr. Nolt was Mennonite by faith. He was self-employed in the wholesale grocery and bait supply business until his retirement.

He married the former Helen S. Witmer on December 31, 1961 in Farmersville, PA. She preceded him in death on April 13, 2010.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Nolt was preceded in death by two sisters.

He is survived by: a daughter, Bonnie Cox & her husband, Terry of Karthaus; a son, Ron Nolt & his wife, Kathy of Reamstown, PA; five grandchildren; four brothers and several nieces and nephews.

At Mr. Nolt’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
