Shirley A. Hendrick
Shirley A. Hendrick, 91, of (New Liberty) RD Philipsburg, died Friday, January 16, 2026, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Shirley was born on June 25, 1934, in Frackville,(Pa.), a daughter of the late James D. and Edna (Derr) Clark.
She was a 1952 graduate of the former Frackville High School.
Shirley was married on July 9, 1955, in Frackville, to Clinton E. Hendrick.
She was a dedicated homemaker throughout her life. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Clinton; four daughters: Laurie Knepp (Joseph McGee), of (New Liberty) RD Philipsburg, Kathy Yarger (Warren), of Sanborn, RD Houtzdale, Heather Sharpless (Lynn), of Osceola Mills and Heidi Bone (Don), of Morrisdale; a son, Clinton J. Hendrick (Cindy Marshall), of Clearfield; fourteen grandchildren, including a grandson, Jordan Frisbee, whom they raised at home like one of their own children; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Polachko; a granddaughter, Gina Yarger; a great-grandson, Wyatt Couturiaux; two sisters, June Naydock and Flo Repine; and one brother, James “Jim” Clark, in addition to her parents.
Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Umbria Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
