David T. “Boo” Byron
Dave and Barbra Belko
Boo was truly one of a kind. He had style like no one else—always wearing the coolest glasses—and he had a way of making every gathering better, whether it was with his famous carrot cake, a great bottle of wine, a delicious cheese recommendation, or one of his favorite recipes. I still catch myself calling one of his and now my favorite cheeses “Boo cheese.”
His slow golf game was legendary, but so was the time and laughter that came with it. More than anything, Boo’s love for his kids, his grandkids, Cindy, his dogs and all of his friends was evident in everything he did. He made people feel welcomed, loved, and appreciated.
He will be missed more than words can say, but we are all so fortunate to have so many wonderful memories to hold onto. As Boo would say, “You can’t make this shit up.” And my favorite words of his, “Love you…mean it.”
