Daniel Joseph “Dan” Williams

Daniel Joseph “Dan” Williams, 47, of Philipsburg, died Monday, September 25, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Dan was born on August 5, 1970, in Clearfield, a son of Ottis W. and Elda M. (Maines) Williams, both of whom preceded him in death.

He was a 1988 graduate of Philipsburg – Osceola Area High School. He was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing and baseball in his spare time.

Dan was preceded in death by two brothers, Ottis “Butch” Williams, Jr. and Jon “BeBe” A. Williams, in addition to his parents.

He is survived by two sisters, Cynthia E. Williams, of Philipsburg and Annette I. Martell and her husband, Ray, of Frenchville; two brothers, David E. Williams, of Clearfield and Edward A. Williams, of Atlantic, RD Houtzdale; and also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
