Betty J. Weidow

Betty J. (Conklin) Weidow, 70, of Philipsburg, and formerly of West Decatur and Warren, (Pa) died Monday, February 4, 2019, at her residence.

Betty was born on July 12, 1948, in West Decatur, a daughter of the late Clarence M. “Brownie” and Alta M. (English) Conklin.

Betty was a graduate of the Philipsburg – Osceola Area High School.

She was married on June 14, 1969, in West Decatur, to Lester A. Weidow, who preceded her in death on May 29, 2015.

Betty was employed in a variety of occupations throughout her working career in addition to being a dedicated homemaker.

She was of the Christian faith and attended the First Free Methodist Church, Warren.

Betty was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Hope Marie, on May 13, 1977; an infant son, Lester Alan (II), on May 2, 1978; and one sister, Nancy L. Conklin, in 1942, in addition to her parents and husband.

She is survived by a son, Cory L. A. Weidow and his wife, Betty J., of Fargo, North Dakota; four grandchildren: Jared, Nickoles, Xavier and Robert Weidow, all of Fargo; four brothers: Donald W. Conklin and his wife, Nancy, of Osceola Mills, Roy M. Conklin and his wife, Catherine, Ray M. Conklin and his wife, Barbara, and Clarence D. “ Boots” Conklin and his wife, Gloria “Joyce,” all of West Decatur; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

There will be no public visitation. Services will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg.
