William C. “Twiddles” Twist – Guestbook Entries

Bob Etchells

While I never had the honor of meeting Mr. Twist personally, his legacy lives on through his wonderful family whom I’ve gotten to personally know and admire over the past few years. Matthew 7:16-20 notes that every good tree bringeth forth good fruit. Based on the example of his fine and loving family, the kind and caring nature they show to all and that he in turn showed to them, we will certainly miss a good, good man.

Uncle “Twiddles” seemed to be a quiet man. But when he did have something to say, you almost knew it would make you smile. My Mom and Dad loved traveling with Aunt Skippy and Uncle Twiddles. And as if I didn’t already know it, that proved to me what sweet, kind, & caring people they had to be. It will be hard to imagine Skip without Twiddles, but they’ll be together forever in heart and soul. My love goes out to you and yours, Aunt Skip. Love you very much, Val (&Ron)

Condolences to the family.
Bill saved my life when we were kids. Bill and others were having a good time swimming in the Moshannon Creek near Hudson. It looked like fun so I jumped in, but I didn’t know how to swim. I’m sure I would have drowned had not Bill pulled me to shore.
