Mary F. Swansegar

Mary F. Swansegar, 92, of Philipsburg, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Windy Hill Village, PSL, Philipsburg.

Mary was born on January 3, 1926, in Philipsburg, a daughter of Michael and Mary (Werba) Fetcenko, both of whom preceded her in death.

She attended the former Morris Township High School. Mary was employed as a seamstress with Charles Navasky & Co., Philipsburg, until her retirement in January 1986 after 32 years of service.

She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Philipsburg.

Mary was married on July 20, 1946, to George L. Swansegar, who preceded her in death on October 31, 1986.

She was also preceded in death by four sisters: Dorothy Fetcenko, Margaret Salvatore, Pauline Verost and Irene Engel; and three brothers: George, Thomas and Mitchell Fetcenko.

Mary is survived by two brothers, Lawrence Fetcenko and his wife, Elisa and Raymond Fetcenko and his wife, Barbara, all of Elyria, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated with a day and time to be announced.
