Linda D. Spencer

Linda D. Spencer, 65, of West Decatur, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at her residence.

Linda was born on September 24, 1953, in Conneaut, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ernest L. Gray, Jr and Margaret E. (Bathurst) Gray.

Linda was married on December 31, 1971, in Knox (Pa.), to Raymond G. Spencer, who preceded her in death.

She was employed with a few area businesses throughout her working career. These included: the former Philipsburg Bi-Lo, the former Clearfield branch of Elcam, Inc., of St. Marys and Toftrees and St. Moritz Security Services, both of State College.

Linda enjoyed spending time reading, playing bingo and going out to local venues to hear the Moore Bros. perform.

Linda is survived by three daughters: Helen L. Harris and her husband, Don, of West Decatur, Brenda L. Smith and her companion, David Dowell, of Philipsburg and Gwen M. Lansberry and her fiancé, Albert Harris, of West Decatur; five grandchildren: Donald Harris, Jr., Lydia Harris, Kelly Smith, Carl Spencer and Timmy Teats; one sister, Kathy A. Bennett and her companion, Steve Kozak, of Philipsburg; two brothers, Bryan S. Bennett and his wife, Kim, of Philipsburg and Leonard D. Bennett, Sr., of Altoona; and numerous other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 2 pm, at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, with Rev. John T. Dill, officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, from 12 Noon until the time of the service.
