Linda L. “Shorty” Schnars

Linda L. “Shorty” Schnars, 70, formerly of West Decatur, died Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Mountain Laurel Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

Linda was born on August 30, 1952, a daughter of the late Charles L. Vieard and Pauline M. (Gearhart) Vieard.

She was a graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School and a dedicated homemaker.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Vieard; and a brother-in-law, John Parada, Jr., in addition to her parents.

Linda is survived by a daughter, Diane L. Smith and her fiancé, James Clay, of Clearfield; a sister, Bonnie K. Parada, of Philipsburg; a grandson, Justin James Bennett, of Clearfield; and numerous other extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg, on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Noon.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10am until the time of the service.

Interment will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
