Deborah Schnarrs

Deborah Schnarrs, 64, of Chester Hill, died Saturday, May 22, 2021, at her residence.

Deborah was born on December 21, 1956, in Hawk Run, a daughter of the late Merle L. and Helen E. (Astare) Butterworth.

She was a graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School. Deborah was a dedicated homemaker and an avid reader.

She was married on February 15, 1975, in Hawk Run, to Richard C. Schnarrs, who survives at home.

She is also survived by two daughters, Miranda D. Corrigan and her husband, Bobby, of Philipsburg and Skye M. Bryan and her husband, James, of Osceola Mills; a son, Joshua R. Schnarrs and his wife, Nicole, of Philipsburg; five grandchildren: Tysin and Mykenna Bryan, Noah Schnarrs, and Cheyanne and Mischa Corrigan; one sister, Victoria Bordas, of (Hudson) RD Philipsburg; four brothers: David Butterworth and his companion, Bonnie Ondo, of (Black Moshannon) RD Philipsburg, Allan Butterworth and his wife, Marsha, of Chester Hill, Terrance Butterworth and his wife, Beverly, of Morrisdale and Brian Butterworth and his wife, Tina, of RD Philipsburg; and numerous other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley O’Connell, in addition to her parents.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
