James B. Robb

James B. Robb, 75, of (Gearhartville) RD Philipsburg, died Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

James was born on December 13, 1946, in Lemont, a son of the late Cloyd B. and Jane M.
(Williams) Robb.

James was a 1965 graduate of the State College High School. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War era.

James was employed throughout his working career with Chemcut, State College, until health issues forced an early retirement.

He was married on May 4, 1966, in Philipsburg, to the former Patricia A. Matson, who survives at home.

He is also survived by two daughters, Tammy M. Minarchick and her husband, James, of (South) Philipsburg and Christina A. Fletcher and her husband, Chad, of Clearfield; one son, James B. Robb, II and his wife, Spirit, of Sussex, New Jersey; four grandchildren: Tiffany Huffman and her husband, Alex, of Ft. Myers, Florida, Cassidy Parks and her husband, Aaron, of Philipsburg, Jazlynn B. Robb, of Philipsburg and Karley A. Robb, of Lynchburg, Virginia; one great-granddaughter, Blaire “on the way”; two sisters, Connie Tomco and her husband, John, of State College and Valerie L. Robb-Emel and her husband, David, of State College; and numerous other extended family members.

Before becoming disabled, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being an outdoorsman.

A memorial service for James will be held at a later date with service information to be announced.
