Charles L. “Chuck” Replogle

Charles L. “Chuck” Replogle, 67, of Chester Hill, died Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, with his loving brother, Robert, at his bedside.

Charles was born on January 5, 1955, in Florida, a son of Robert H. and Ida “Kay” (Kissell) Replogle, both of whom preceded him in death.

Charles was a 1974 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School. He furthered his education at Venders Barber School, Johnstown and at Empire Beauty School, State College.

He was employed with several local businesses during the early part of his working career; however, Charles was employed for most of his career in food service at Penn State University. One aspect of his responsibilities was with meal preparation for the Penn State football team. Charles retired from Penn State in 2015. Following his retirement, he was employed with Lee Industries as a security officer.

Charles was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Philipsburg.

Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed going on cruises and was a Platinum Member with Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Charles is survived by his brother, Robert C. Replogle, at home in Chester Hill.  Charles and Robert were especially close and lived together their entire lives.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 5 to 9 pm, at the First Presbyterian Church, 509 E. Presqueisle Street, Philipsburg.

A memorial service will be held for Charles next month on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 2 pm, at the First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dr. Katie Hopper, officiating.

Charles loved flowers; please have all flower orders sent directly to the church for the services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 509 E. Presqueisle Street, Philipsburg, Pa  16866.

Due to the predicted large turnout, the family requests that guests follow Covid 19 guidelines concerning the use of masks.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg.
