I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Death is never welcomed, but it seems to be something we all are accustomed too. Please be assured that the bible promises that God will soon undo death (Revelation 21:3,4) and he promises in John 5:28,29 to resurrect our loved ones right here on earth. I was working out West when Joel passed away. I was unaware of his passing until today. My heart is deeply saddened by such a wonderful and personable person. Joel is very caring and compassionate when it comes to prearrangement and equally so at the time of the funeral. He also knows just the right time to throw in a good story and a bit of the humor. There are few people in my life I've had great respect for and Joel was/is one of them. This world is a sadder place without him in it but I'm sure people in heaven are having quite a laugh over his stories and he finally gets to tell his dad that was a good joke about the ham.

Browsing the internet and looking at former employers I am deeply saddened to come upon this. Joel and the Heath Family taught me the ways of becoming a professional. They opened their home and offered me a education that you could not put a price on. Joel was a great man, a great mentor that had a huge heart.
