Lynn M. Pleskonko

Lynn M. Pleskonko, 79, of (Black Moshannon) RD Philipsburg, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.

Lynn was born September 17, 1941, in Philipsburg, a son of the late Peter M. and Esther M. (Merrell) Pleskonko.

He was a 1959 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School.

Lynn was married on August 17, 1968, in North Tonawanda, New York, to the former Sue Ellen Chatham, who preceded him in death on November 25, 2017.

He is survived by two daughters, Marjann Young, of Houtzdale and Taraleigh Pleskonko, of (Ocean) RD Houtzdale; two grandchildren, Ashley Brady and Peter Young, both of State College; one sister, Janet Turner and her husband, Thad, of Bath, (Pa); and numerous other extended family members.

Lynn was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed canoeing, hiking, horseback riding and bird watching. He loved football and rooted for his Pittsburgh Steelers. He was very close with his sister, Janet, and he enjoyed talking and spending time with her. He also enjoyed spending time talking on the phone with his family members and friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
