Raymond B. “Butch” Oncea

Raymond B. “Butch” Oncea, 61, of Winburne, died Sunday, July 16, 2017, at his residence.

Born April 17, 1956, in Philipsburg, he was a son of Raymond Oncea, whom survives of (Graham Station) RD Philipsburg and Rita Ann (Graffius) Oncea, whom preceded him in death.

Raymond was a 1974 graduate of West Branch Area High School.

He was of the Christian faith. He was employed throughout his working career as a carpenter. He was employed with numerous construction companies as a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Greater Pa Regional Council of Carpenters, Pittsburgh.

Butch was an avid outdoorsman; he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

He was married on October 25, 1986, to the former Laurie L. Domblisky, whom survives at home.

He is also survived by two sons, Nate and Sean T. Oncea, both of Winburne; one sister, Anna Roos and her husband, Richard “Rick,” of Lanse; and numerous other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David Oncea, in addition to his mother.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 1:00 pm at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, with Pastor Jim Hollister, Officiating.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the time of the memorial service at the funeral home.
