Daniel G. Myers, Sr

Daniel G. “Danny” Myers, 61, of (North) Philipsburg, died September 15, 2022, at his residence.

Daniel was born on January 15, 1961, in Philipsburg, a son of the late Daniel A. and Luella Eva (Warrick) Myers.

Daniel was employed throughout his working career as a mechanic. He was employed with the former Rider Motors Inc. and Long’s Motor Buses Co., both of Philipsburg; and he was also the owner / operator of Flathead Dan’s Services. Not only was he employed as a mechanic, but it was also his passion in life. Whether it was an antique, a motor bus or late model; he loved working on all types of engines and vehicles. His other favorite pastimes included antiquing and going to flea markets and yard sales.

Daniel was preceded in death by a step-grandchild, Dexter R. Smolko, in addition to his parents.

Daniel is survived by a son, Daniel G. Myers, Jr. and his wife, Ashley, of (Shiloh) Woodland; a step-daughter, Haley M. Smolko and her husband, Stephen, of Falls Creek; one grandson, Vance D. Myers, of Woodland; four step-grandchildren: Eva L., Stephen A. and Andi C. Smolko, all of Falls Creek and Taylor Blantz, of (Shiloh) Woodland; five sisters: Deloris L. “Dee” Kozak, of Philipsburg, Elizabeth M. Waple and her husband, Cliff, of Allport, Karen M. Maguire, of Drifting, Lisa D. Smeal and her husband, Lester, of (Pinchy) RD Morrisdale and Tracy L. Lumadue and her husband, Dennis, of Philipsburg; three brothers: Bryan S. Myers and his wife, Debbie, of Winburne, Timothy P. Myers and his wife, Beth, of Morrisdale and James P. Myers, of Philipsburg; his beloved cocker spaniel, “Bandit;” and numerous other extended family members.

Private arrangements will be at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Centre Cemetery, RD Osceola Mills.
