Jessie Ray Murray
Jessie Ray Murray, 95, of Philipsburg, PA died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Windy Hill Village in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on May 18, 1919 in Morris Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Edna (Crowell) Coble. Her husband, LeRoy Murray preceded her in death on August 1, 1980.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Philipsburg, PA. Mrs. Murray had been employed for 28 years at the Hallmark store in Philipsburg until retiring. She was a 1936 graduate of the Morris Township High School.
In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by: a son, Ronald L. Aldstadt; two sisters, Isabelle and Peggy Coble; and three brothers, Sylvester Hubler, Earl Hubler and George Coble.
Mrs. Murray is survived by: two sisters, Vivian Coble of Philipsburg, PA and Mabel Maines of Philipsburg, PA; a grandson, Curtis A. Aldstadt & his wife Janice of Westminster, CO; two great-granddaughters, Jessica Aldstadt and McKenzie Wood, both of Colorado; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Aldstadt Crawford of Somerset, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St. Philipsburg, PA; with Rev. Clifford A. Johnston, nephew of Mrs. Murray officiating. Burial will be at the Allport Cemetery in Allport, PA..
Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
