William H. Moore

William H. Moore, 58, of Philipsburg, died at his residence on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

William was born on August 19, 1959, in Philipsburg, a son of Herman S. and Dorothy E. (Carr) Moore, both of whom preceded him in death.

William was the owner of the former Moore Hobbies, Philipsburg

He was a graduate of the heavy equipment operation and truck driving programs at the former Frackville Community College, Frackville, Pa.

He had been employed as a union operating engineer and heavy equipment operator.

William was a Lifetime Member of the American Motorcycle Association and a member of the NRA.

William loved riding his motorcycle. His dog Henry, who just recently passed away, would accompany him everywhere. William enjoyed working on various sideline projects; whether it be on his own or with his friends. He was known to be an adept mechanic, computer wiz and enjoyed buying and selling on Ebay.

William is survived by a sister Shirley A. Moore, of Claymont, Delaware.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
