Grace A. McTavish

Grace A. McTavish, 85, of Philipsburg, died Friday, May 5, 2017, at Mountain Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

Born January 31, 1932, in Pottersdale, she was a daughter of the late Frank A. and Virginia F. (Wooster) Moore.
Grace was a graduate of the former Cooper Township High School. She was employed with General Cigar, formerly of Philipsburg, until her retirement.

She enjoyed a number of activities; including: flower gardening, crocheting, reading and spending time with her family.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Leo and Frank “Butchie” Moore; and one infant brother, Paul Moore.

She is survived by three daughters: Kathy Reiter and her husband, Perry, of Morrisdale, Karen McClellan and her companion, John Ferguson, of State College, and Lisa Stiner, of Philipsburg; one son, James “Bob” McTavish, Jr., of Munson; eight grandchildren: Angel (Reiter) Smith and her husband, Michael, Douglas McClellan, Jr., Erica (McClellan) Kertis and her husband, A.J., Curtis Stiner and his companion, Deeadda Rorabaugh, Kyle McTavish and his wife, Rachelle, Kayla McTavish, James McTavish, III and Tristan Stiner; six great-grandchildren: Brandon Smith, Ethan Smith, Keshawn Rorabaugh, Henley Grace McTavish, Kennedy Anne McTavish and Bellamy McTavish; one great-grandson, Baby Kertis,“is on the way;” six sisters: Marie Watkins, of Frenchville, Dotty Peters, of Clearfield, Bette Hahn, of Philipsburg, Joanne Maney and her husband, “Herb,” of Pine Glen, Bonnie Sabol and her husband, Robert, of Allport and Sonya Renaud and her husband, Duane, of Frenchville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
