Garth E. Longley

Garth E. Longley, 52, of RD Philipsburg, died Monday, January 30, 2017, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Born March 28, 1964, in Media, he was a son of the late Edwin Longley (and his surviving spouse, Mona, of Sandy Ridge) and Rosemarie (Cupani) Wilkes (and her husband, Joe) who survive of Sarasota, Florida.

Garth was a 1982 graduate of the Philipsburg – Osceola Area High School.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Philipsburg.

He was employed as a regional manager in Jacksonville, Fla., for Swisher International, until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Garth is survived by two sons, Eli Longley and his fiancée, Kelsey Kruse, of Orlando, Fla. and Jacob M. Longley and his fiancée, Sabrina McMillen, of State College; one granddaughter, Roxi C. Longley, of Orlando, Fla.; and his girlfriend, Mary Gerberich, of King of Prussia.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 1:00 pm, at Grace United Methodist Church, 912 E. Pine Street, Philipsburg, with Lay Speaker, Donald H. Dinant, Officiating.

Visitation will be on Saturday, from Noon until the time of the service at the church.

Interment will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.

The funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg.
