Geane Kelley

Geane Kelley, 87, of West Decatur, died Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Mountain Laurel Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

Geane was born on October 26, 1931, in Patton, a daughter of the late Gerald S. and Veda (Wyke) Gardner.

Geane was a graduate of Curwensville High School.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, West Decatur. She was a very active church member and volunteered for numerous activities.

Geane was married to Wayne Kelley, her husband of 67 years, who survives at home.

She was employed with several area businesses throughout her career. She was employed as a secretary for DuPont Airplane Marine, formerly of Hyde and manager for the former Dimeling Hotel, in Clearfield. However, she was employed as a bookkeeper for the majority of her career with the former Fred Diehl Motors and retired after 40 years of service.

Geane’s hobbies included walking and reading in her spare time.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at 11 am at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, with Lay Member Georgia Ann Litz, officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, from 5 to 7 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the service.

Interment will be in Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.
