Timothy V. Kellerman

Timothy V. Kellerman, 70, of Philipsburg, died Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Timothy was born on November 27, 1948, in Bellefonte, a son of the late Robert H. and Irene E. (Dann) Kellerman.

Tim was a 1966 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. Following high school, he served with the US Navy from 1968-1972 during the Vietnam War era.

Tim was employed with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board throughout his working career. His managerial assignments included serving as assistant manager for the Hamilton Avenue, State College location and then store manager of the Bellefonte location until his retirement.

Tim was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Hawk Run. He was always ready to lend a hand in service to his church; especially with the bake sales organized by the church’s Altar Society.

Tim was married on August 19, 2001, in Philipsburg, to the former Shirley J. Cerifko, who survives at home.

He is also survived by one son, Jeffrey T. Kellerman, of Boalsburg; two sisters, Diane Goodyear and her husband, Richard, of Howard and Pamela Kellerman, of Milesburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Tim was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Kellerman and one step-son, Michael B. Cuppett.

Tim was an avid bowler throughout his life.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at 11 am, at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Hawk Run, with Fr. Peter Benyo, officiating, and assisted by Deacon Emil Gulick.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, from 3 to 8 pm at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg; and on Wednesday, from 10 am until the time to leave for church.

There will be a Panachida Service held at 4 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Orthodox Cemetery, Hawk Run.
