Photo of Patrick HowePatrick W. “Pat” Howe, Sr., 72, of Bellefonte, died Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Pat was born on March 2, 1948, in Philipsburg, a son of the late Charles P. and Elvira M. (Harris) Howe.

He was employed as an inspector for Harley-Davidson, York, Pa. He retired after 42 years of service.

Pat was married on May 18, 1996, at the Sprucetown United Methodist Church, Centre Hall, to the former Ruth Ann Barner, who survives at home.

He is also survived by three daughters: Lisa Griffiths and her companion, Randy Coleman, of Dover, Pa., Jennifer Howe, of York and Jodi Johnston and her husband, Ben, of Howard; one son, Patrick Howe, Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of North Carolina; six grandchildren: Alexis Leisenring, John Dumpman, and Kalie Parks, all of York, and Sierra Martin, Abigail Martin and Jameson Johnston, all of Howard; one brother, James P. Howe and his wife, Loretta, of Kylertown; two sisters-in-law, Joan Howe, of Hawk Run and Marian Howe, of Erie; and numerous other extended family members.

Pat was preceded in death by one sister, Suzanne L. Askey; two brothers, Charles F. and Harry W. Howe, in addition to his parents.

Pat was an avid fan of the Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers football teams. He was also a fan of NASCAR, enjoyed hunting and going to the casinos.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
