Robert Scott Holt

Robert Scott Holt, 58, of Philipsburg, died Monday, March 26, 2018, at his residence.

He was born on February 23, 1960, in Philipsburg; a son of Donald L. Holt, who survives of Philipsburg, and Beverly A. (Stonebraker) Holt, who preceded him in death.

Robert was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Philipsburg and 1978 graduate of the Philipsburg – Osceola Area High School.

He was first employed with the Arena Restaurant, formerly located within the Harbor Inn of Philipsburg. He was then employed with the Best Western hotel in Clearfield until his retirement.

Rob enjoyed playing checkers, visiting friends and spending time with his Dad. They enjoyed watching classic westerns together. Also, one of his favorite pastimes when he was younger was practicing Karate.

Robert is survived by a sister, Laurie Ann Holt, of Lansdale; and a number of extended family members, in addition to his father, Donald.

Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

The arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg.
