Dr Herring will be missed, he was a great person and a fantastic Vet, never too busy to answer one more question about any of our animals – especially our last problem child “Magnum”. We can’t imagine getting another puppy and not not getting Dr. Herring’s seal of approval.

Natalie and James Carter

Condolences to all the Herring family,
Your husband, father, grandfather will be missed by all who know him and knew his love of his family and most importantly his love for Jehovah God. We look forward to seeing him in the Paradise earth healthy and laughing soon.
As the best vet Dr. Herring took such great care of our cats Coco and Peanut and they will miss their favorite vet who always made them feel relaxed when they came in with his gentle touch and soothing voice before their exams.

We were shocked to hear of the passing of Dr. Herring. He has been our vet for many years taking care of Little Bit, Zoey and Chloe. We always enjoyed talking to him when we took our girls to him for annual check ups or whatever they needed. We are going to miss Dr. Herring. May he Rest In Peace.

My deepest condolences to the family! Dr Herring has taken care of my show dogs for many years! Even when he still worked with Dr Wooten! He was always so kind and helpful and answered my many many questions!!! He always seemed thrilled when one of my dogs that he treated won an award at a dog show!! He will be greatly missed!

We were so sorry to hear about Dr. Ron. He gave me my first job when I moved to Clearfield and I am forever thankful for that and the friendship that we developed with your family. He was a very special person and we had many great conversations over the years that I was able to work with him. I was so blessed to know him. Please accept our condolences and we will keep your family in our prayers for peace and support. God Bless you!!

Dr. Herring was a caring, compassionate man and a superb vet. My world and the world of pets is PROFOUNDLY diminished at the loss of such a great and loving man. In these past years, he was so over-worked, YET always managed to be through and spend all the time needed with his patients. He was a soulful man of great uncommon commonsense and true old-school integrity. He never pressured patients to spend more money and do useless or invasive procedures. He had true wisdom and compassion that is exceptionally rare. I always trusted his judgment and intuition. I am deeply shocked and saddened at his passing. Oh Dr. Herring, I (and my dogs) will ALWAYS miss that twinkle in your eye and warm smile – and that loving touch you had with animals. God Bless your family. God Bless your beautiful soul. I will never forget you.

Rhonda

I will miss Dr. Herring so much. He helped me get through a rough time with one of my pets and fixed my dog up to be good as new. I was in his office so much he actually told me at my last visit “I hope the next time I see you, it’s at Walmart!” He was such a nice person and I enjoyed chatting with him. My sincere condolences to his family.

Karen Frisbee

My sincere condolences to the family. We will always be grateful for all the help Doc provided with our bison all those years ago. He was our vet, but we considered him a friend as well.

That place called heaven must be an awful special place.

The passing of our friends and family teaches us that this life is only temporary. My husband and I shared 30 wonderful years with Dr. Herring. He was not only our veterinarian but our dear friend and counselor. He always had time for a sick dog, time for an interview or just a friendly lunch.

He would gladly answer your call in the middle of the night. He celebrated our new puppy’s with us. He put his arm around us when it was time to let the old ones go. There will never be another veterinarian for me like Dr. Herring. He comforted me this year when my husband passed on April 28 and now I must take his comforting words and apply them to his passing. Life teaches us many lessons but death teaches a that life is only temporary. We pray that we will meet again in a time where we will celebrate and a new life and a new journey.

My deepest and most heartfelt understanding and condolences to his family. We were all lucky to have been a small part of his life. We are better people to have known such a wonderful man. Thank you for sharing Him with us.

With much love and fond memories,
CinDee Byer
